Your Role as Content & Social Media Marketing Intern

We are looking for an Intern Content & Social Media Marketing who will help us further develop the Erasmus Enterprise social media strategy by creating engaging content. You will be coordinating our social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram) and manage our Blog on the website.

Next to this you will be part of the Erasmus Enterprise team. You will work on diverse projects together and support in further defining the community and supporting the overall strategy of Erasmus Enterprise.

Therefore, we are looking for a self-starter, with an entrepreneurial mindset, who is eager to learn and likes to be part of this new movement at the EUR campus, and enjoys communicating to our community members and other internal (Erasmus University) and external stakeholders in our mission.

 

What you bring?

  • You are HBO/University work and thinking level;
  • You are following a marketing communication course or similar function;
  • You are able to identify opportunities and seize them;
  • You are independent and able to devise and implement actions;
  • You are a real language artist and write original, powerful and effective texts;
  • You are creative and skilled in Adobe/Canva or are open to learning it;
  • You are available at least 24 hours a week;
  • An advantage: you have affinity with entrepreneurship and innovation.

About Erasmus Enterprise

Erasmus Enterprise (EE) is a start-up within Erasmus University Rotterdam. In a short time, this young ambitious company has made a name for itself in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation. It operates at the intersection of education, education and business. The enterpreneurial community is based at EUR’s Woudestein Campus. The community offers every opportunity to answer all questions about entrepreneurship for students, employees and (potential) entrepreneurs alike. Think of housing, where there is the possibility to rent office space and event space, access to funding opportunities with our funding partners Graduate Entrepreneur and UNIIQ and of course the knowledge that Erasmus University Rotterdam has around entrepreneurship with the subsidiaries Erasmus Research and Business Support (ERBS), Erasmus Center for Entrepreneurship (ECE) or YES!Delft. Through an active community approach including events, we want to connect and encourage students, employees, and others to seek entrepreneurship as much as possible, in line with our Erasmian values.

What will you do?

You will be supervised by the Event Manager and Junior Community Manager and support in various tasks related to facilities management. Some of the daily tasks include:

  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of general facility management of the N and Q buildings;
  • Assistance in ensuring both physical and wireless access to Erasmus Enterprise buildings;
  • Assist in acting as daily first point of contact for the cleaning service;
  • Arrange and issue parking tickets for tenants;
  • Handle incoming service requests Q and N buildings and liaise with the Erasmus University Rotterdam service desk on these;
  • Assistance in maintaining the Enterprise Community through Bisner.com;
  • Assist in monitoring the quality of office supplies (TV screens, office chairs, etc.) and meeting rooms;
  • Assistance in other daily building-related matters.

If you intern at Erasmus Enterprise, you will be part of our team and our community. You will learn all about our working methods and support in facility management. Among other things, you will ensure that the services and all facilities within the Erasmus Enterprise buildings run smoothly, so that the tenants, partners and students can perform their work to the best of their ability.

What do you have to offer?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven 3rd-year student with a facility-oriented education such as HBO Facility and/or Event Management for a collaborative internship of at least 5 months, fitting within the internship period of the programme.

  • You have a strong affinity with facility management;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English given the international nature of our tenants;
  • You describe yourself as: Accurate, enthusiastic, representative, communicative, quality-oriented;
  • You have an affinity for innovation and entrepreneurship;
  • If you hold a B driving licence, that is an advantage.

  • Iemand met een afgeronde HBO- of Academische opleiding Marketing, Communicatie, International Business, Media & Entertainment of andere gerelateerde opleidingen.
  • Je wilt graag in een ongedwongen setting veel aspecten leren.
  • Je bent proactief en niet bang om je communicatie skills in te zetten.
  • Perfecte beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal.
