Your Role as Content & Social Media Marketing Intern
We are looking for an Intern Content & Social Media Marketing who will help us further develop the Erasmus Enterprise social media strategy by creating engaging content. You will be coordinating our social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram) and manage our Blog on the website.
Next to this you will be part of the Erasmus Enterprise team. You will work on diverse projects together and support in further defining the community and supporting the overall strategy of Erasmus Enterprise.
Therefore, we are looking for a self-starter, with an entrepreneurial mindset, who is eager to learn and likes to be part of this new movement at the EUR campus, and enjoys communicating to our community members and other internal (Erasmus University) and external stakeholders in our mission.
What you bring?
- You are HBO/University work and thinking level;
- You are following a marketing communication course or similar function;
- You are able to identify opportunities and seize them;
- You are independent and able to devise and implement actions;
- You are a real language artist and write original, powerful and effective texts;
- You are creative and skilled in Adobe/Canva or are open to learning it;
- You are available at least 24 hours a week;
- An advantage: you have affinity with entrepreneurship and innovation.

Erasmus University Rotterdam, is looking for an enthusiastic Project Lead (0,8 – 1 fte) to run the Zuid Holland SME AI Clinics/ MKB Data Clinic.
Making data (science) accessible for Small to Medium sized Enterprises
Small to Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs)/ MKBs in the Netherlands experience various hurdles in deriving value from the latest technological developments in data science. Led by Erasmus University Rotterdam and Technical University of Delft, the ZH SME AI Clinics is established to help them take the first step. The aim is to improve the data literacy and data maturity of SMEs through workshops and tailor- made short term sprint projects taking on the specific challenges an individual SME is facing. The workshops and projects are carried out by students at both Erasmus University Rotterdam and TU Delft and you will curate and deploy projects while ensuring engagement of student pool and project delivery.
As a Project Lead you will be in charge of defining project scope and path towards implementation and ensuring timely and quality delivery for the ZH SME AI Clinic for SMEs and students in Erasmus University Rotterdam along with your counterpart in TU Delft. Your main aim is to scout SMEs, help them identify their personal business challenges where data (science) could aid – and specifically where we can aid them by means of a workshop or project. Concretely, you will reach out to several SMEs, identify (data)challenges, draft project proposals, select the right student for the project, and supervise students to ensure the execution and smooth delivery.
You will be working on a daily basis within the teams of the Erasmus University Rotterdam Knowledge Transfer Office – Erasmus Research Services and Erasmus Enterprise, the community of entrepreneurs and innovators on the Erasmus University Rotterdam campus.
Job content
Give (public or digital) talks to inspire SMEs;
Work with SMEs to identify the personal business challenges where data (science) could aid;
Guide SMEs to a suitable first step in taking on their business challenge by scoping a deliverable student project;
Help recruit students;
Help organize and coordinate Inspiration workshops ;
Write and check project proposals for SMEs
Match students to identified data projects.
Supervise student projects and ensure the projects get delivered as promised and planned.
Work together with your counterparts at TU Delft
Help shape the future of the ZH SME AI Clinic
Profile
You have a completed academic degree, preferably in a domain relevant to data science and/or business development and/or project management.
You have demonstrable knowledge or affinity with data science.
You have demonstrable experience with project management.
You are able to adapt your communication style to variety of academic and non-academic
audiences.
You are enthusiastic, motivated, and happy to work in a versatile and high paced environment.
You are fluent in Dutch and English.
Terms of employment
The employment contract is 1 year with a view to permanent employment.
A job scope of 32-38 hours per week.
A salary based on scale 10 of the CAO Dutch Universities with a minimum of € 2,960 and a
maximum of € 4,670 gross per month based on a full working week (38 hours), plus 8% holiday
allowance and a year-end bonus of 8.3%.

Erasmus Enterprise (EE) is a start-up within the Erasmus University Rotterdam. In a short time, this young and ambitious enterprise has made a name for itself in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation. It operates at the intersection of education and business.
