Erasmus Enterprise is on the look out for a Marketing Executive.

What you will be doing as a Marketing Executive

As a Marketing Executive you will join an entrepreneurial team keen to go the extra mile to become the best entrepreneurial community in the Netherlands and beyond. You will report to the Marketing & Communications Lead and you will get a real chance to shape your role. You will run engaging campaigns for a range of brands such as Younite, Erasmus Enterprise on Tour, NL Startup Competition and many more. You will contribute to the entrepreneurial growth of the community by:

  • Crafting engaging landing and registration pages, optimizing for conversions (NL & EN)
  • Analyzing and implementing customer journey conversions
  • Running organic and paid campaigns on social media, email and offline
  • Conducting reporting for ongoing campaigns across all channel

Job Requirements

  • You Have 2-3 years of work experience, preferably in the field of marketing
  • You have completed education at HBO or WO level (preferably in a commercial direction)
  • You are creative and enterprising, with the ability to switch easily between different projects
  • You have excellent oral and written presentation skills both in English and Dutch
  • You are open-minded and spontaneous
  • You have a ‘can do’ attitude, enthusiasm for challenges and a strong work ethic

Terms of employment

Fixed-term contract: one year, with the possibility of a longer-term contract if you show that you fit in well with our team. Do you meet the above profile? Erasmus Enterprise is looking for a Marketing & Communication Manager who has a passion for marketing & communication and is willing to further develop the vision of Erasmus Enterprise.

You are an entrepreneurial type with great affinity for the start-up and scale-up world in which you effortlessly switch between various large-scale projects. You like to lead and thanks to your experience and enthusiasm, you know how to get everyone in the organization on board with your marketing plans.

Job Profile

  • You are responsible for managing the marketing team (1 Videographer and Content Creator, 1 Design & Marketing Coordinator and two interns).
  • You are responsible for making short- and long-term marketing strategies;
    In addition, you have final responsibility for the budgets for the different marketing channels while developing communication tools in collaboration with the Design & Marketing Coordinator and Videographer and Content Creator.
  • Devise, execute and evaluate marketing campaigns (online & offline) for large-scale Erasmus Enterprise projects, including Erasmus University Challenge, Talent for Transition and NL Startup Competition.
  • Management of the website, social media channels such as Instagram and LinkedIn and public relations; in close cooperation with the Event Manager.
  • Collaborating with our affiliates Erasmus Research and Business Support (ERBS), Erasmus Center for Entrepreneurship (ECE), YES! Delft and community members on marketing & communication.
  • Monitoring trends and organizations and organizing communication with stakeholders and the Erasmus Enterprise community to make Erasmus Enterprise visible inside and outside the university.

Job requirements

  • Successful completion of a marketing/communications degree at least at HBO level.
  • At least five years of relevant work experience in an international context.
  • (Online) Marketing and brand management are right up your street.
  • These s-words appeal to you: social media, SEO, SEA.
  • You know Google Analytics like no other.
  • You like and have an affinity with design.
  • Experience and mastery of programs and software systems we work with (CM, WordPress, Mailchimp, Photoshop).
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Broad experience as a spokesperson and with corporate communication and branding.
  • You have successful related project management experience.
  • Good communication skills and you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Connecting and entrepreneurial. Hands-on mentality.
  • Good verbal and written command of the Dutch and English language.

Erasmus Enterprise is looking for an Event Manager who has a passion for organizing events and has the commercial drive to take the growth of our events to the next level. From giving a guided tour, drawing up an offer, identification of the wishes and needs of our internal and external clients, to linking up with our controller regarding the invoicing process. Nothing is too much for you, you are an allrounder and you handle it all perfectly! It’s never a dull moment @Erasmus Enterprise!

Tasks and responsibilities

You have a great affinity with organizing events, working with schedules and deadlines, and collaborating with various disciplines and teams. You are responsible that Erasmus Enterprise events run smoothly and successfully.

You will liaise with both internal (EUR) and external clients/ partners, work closely with our Community Manager and report to the Head of Business Development.

Some of the daily tasks:

  • You have a leading role in the organization and event management of large-scale Erasmus Enterprise projects, including Erasmus University Challenge, Talent for Transition and NL Startup Competition;
  • You maintain a lot of contact by e-mail, telephone and during events. With our community members and EUR-colleagues as clients, but also with external clients, guests, speakers, and other involved parties. So, you like social interaction, and you quickly understand the needs of visitors and customers;
  • You take care of and coordinate the necessary services for events, such as catering, technical support, the facilities, and the decoration;
  • You are the contact person for the client and the suppliers before, during and after the events;
  • You work closely with the marketing department in the promotion of all Erasmus Enterprise events via social media channels (Instagram and LinkedIn) and the website;
  • You draw up clear offers, manage the reservation process and liaise with our controller regarding the invoicing process;
  • You like to think along with the further professionalization of the Events & Community department;

What do you take with you?

You are an organizational talent and enjoy tackling challenges, organizing, and working together. You are someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with deadlines. You take an active and independent approach to your work. By working in a structured way and keeping an overview, you can quickly switch between the different (sometimes ad hoc) activities. You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Dutch and English. Any other language you master is an advantage.

Job requirements:

  • A completed education at HBO/ WO level (preferably in a commercial direction);
  • You have 3 – 5 years of successful related event management experience;
  • You have excellent oral and written presentation skills in English;
  • You are precise, flexible and stress resistant;
  • You have strong planning and organizational skills;

Are you in the 3rd year of your Marketing & Communication studies and looking for a versatile internship? Then we are looking for you! We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious content & social media marketing intern to join our team.

What will you do?

As a Junior Marketeer at Erasmus Enterprise, you will support in all marketing activities carried out. This means that it is a very broad and varied internship in which you will have to deal with all kinds of fields in marketing.

But what will you be doing? You will actively think along in social media strategy, but you will also create creative content and support the maintenance of social media channels and give your input on improvements for the website. You will make sure Erasmus Enterprise comes to life online and radiates exactly what we stand for.

You coordinate various actions, from drafting mailings to distinguishing between various target groups. You are able to spot opportunities and trends playing out online and seize them to create an interesting post or blog.

What can you bring to the team?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven 3rd-year student with a marketing & communication-oriented degree for a collaborative internship of at least 5 months, fitting within the internship period of the course.

  • You have hbo/wo working and thinking level;
  • You are studying marketing & communications or a similar course;
  • You can spot and seize opportunities;
  • You are independent and able to devise and implement actions;
  • You are truly a language filter and write original, powerful, and effective texts;
  • You are creative and proficient in Adobe or open to learning it;
  • You are available for a minimum of 24 hours per week;
